The Manager’s Handbook is complete.
We will be purchasing a new hot dog machine, to prevent injury/scalding.

Treasurer’s Report   (John D)

There was a lot of income activity this month with registrations and sponsorships.
John will be giving the Secretary a copy of the financial report each month to include with the minutes.
Sterling Little League remains in sound financial shape.

Fundraising   (Jan G)

The Sponsorship Drive is in full swing.  Sponsorships are coming in and hopefully will continue to do so.
We now have a Fundraising Committee, consisting of members Jan Gill, Donna Bernier, Pam Pingeton, Debbie Cross, and Jill Percia.  Plans for this year include the Sponsorship Drive, Opening Day, and the Home Run Derby.
The date for the Home Run Derby is Saturday, May 19th.

Registration Update   (John D & Jeff P)

To date, 230 kids are registered.  This number is about 20 below last year.
The numbers for AA and AAA are lighter than previous years.
T-ball registrations seem to be in good shape.
We may want to increase our late fee (registrations after April 1st) to encourage earlier sign-ups.

Opening Day   (Joe C)

Mike will ask Doug to speak at Opening Day.
Photo schedule will be organized with game schedule and parade.
The layout for the Opening Day program could be started now.

Training   (Board)

Saturday, April 21st, has been set aside for coaches’ clinics.  The Board will conduct the AA/T-ball clinic and Joe Curtin will contact Steve Santucci to conduct the AAA/Major clinic.

T-ball, AA, AAA Coordinator’s Comments   (Jim S)

There will probably be 6 teams in AAA.
The AAA draft will happen at the end of March.
No discussion on T-ball or AA.
